29thLap

As the last 4 months of my 20's approaches, I find myself not sad, but excited to start a new decade.
I've mentioned this to a few people and I've gotten mixed reactions. Some agree with me, others give me that 'look'- like I'm crazy to think that way.

I remember looking forward to being in my 20's. Then I hit 25. Then every birthday afterwards was a anniversary of my 25th birthday.

My second decade of life brought about a lot of major life changes. I finished college with my bachelors degree, started my career, got married, became a mother, got my masters degree, celebrated my high school 10 year reunion and then had my second child.

Now cheers to the last leg of my 29th year and more to come on decade number 3.
